The first thing to check is the temperature to make sure it's appropriate before taking this hike at Rattlesnake Ledge. It has a good amount of switch backs and shade from the tall trees. The incline of the trail is moderate and nothing too demanding. What will get you is the heat, especially if you're carrying a bag full of gear with water. Make sure your clients have someone to help them with provisions as well.
When we got to the top there was probably around 40 people up there just sitting on the rocks and waiting for their turn to photograph themselves on the ledge. Don't get discouraged because everyone is normally pretty respectful so if you wait your turn they will give you time and clear out.
There's many rewarding moments on the hike up to Rattlesnake Ledge. The top is breathe taking and will leave you with the sense of how beautiful this world is. The walk back down is light and you have an extra pep in your step from a feeling of accomplishment. I would say anyone can do this hike!
